A New Day
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV When a new year approaches people get so excited because it’s fresh. No mistakes. We make resolutions, goals and plans. But the reality is every day is a new day with no mistakes in it. We won’t need to wait until the new year to make changes. God gives us new mercies every morning! How wonderful to have a God who loves us so deeply it never ceases. No matter what we do. No matter what we say. He loves us. He calls us to Him. He asks us to follow, knowing we can never be perfect, and loving us through our failures. His mercies are new every morning. Today is a new day. Choose to rest in His faithfulness and love for us.
